If you wish to place a security freeze on your credit report with any other consumer reporting agency, such as the three nationwide consumer credit reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion), you will need to contact those companies directly. Please note that this process only places a freeze on your Teletrack file and not on any file which may be maintained by one or more affiliated companies or any other consumer reporting agencies. If you need to lift the freeze temporarily for a period of time or a particular company, see instructions below. Once frozen, your Teletrack consumer file will only be released, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law, such as to your existing creditors, when you directly contact Teletrack, provide us with your personal PIN, and request that any information Teletrack has on you be released. Once a security freeze is in place, Teletrack will provide you with a personal PIN. If you do not complete the authentication process, Teletrack will be unable to place a freeze on your file. After Teletrack verifies your identity, it will place a security freeze on your Teletrack consumer file. Upon receipt of your request, you will receive an email from Teletrack requesting you to complete certain steps to authenticate your identity. While the law varies from state to state, in general, you may request a security freeze to be placed upon your consumer file by completing the initial request form to the left.
